Oct. 15th, 2008 02:10 amSome public school administrators are pretending to be doctors and are mandating what kind of food kids can and cannot eat on school property. Setting aside the issue of giving up your rights by taking kids to public school, what about the fact that different diets are needed to achieve different goals? That athlete's diet would not give you a 180 years lifespan; the Rosedale's "no carb" diet might be counter-indicated for a test, exam or interview days; selecting foods according to one's blood type is not a trivial task and so on.
Amazingly, these administrators pretend to know what is healthy for all kids at all times. Is it opening them to litigation? Can they be sued class-action style for practicing medicine without license?
