Looks like from now on, as a consequence of the Wisconsin Supreme Court landmark decision, contract template for professor hiring will no longer have a clause guaranteeing academic freedom.

Да, но только на основании таковой строчки в контракте.

Дважды на одни грабли не наступают, теперь эту строчку заменят на обратную:

"Employee under the terms of this contract between ... and ... is expressly prohibited from exercising his First Amendment rights, even after obtaining written permission from Diversity Office. No exceptions are provided or implied, and this clause supersedes all other clauses of this contract, which might inadvertently create false impression that such freedom is permitted under particular narrow set of circumstances."
